HISTORY
Saceites was incorporated in February 1981 and was transformed into
conglomerate in August 1982.
In May 1983 the construction of the first manufacturing plants was initiated and
in November of the same year, the first commercial products were brought to
market.
In the middle of 1985, a group of palm tree growers became shareholders and gave
a key endorsement to the provision of its main raw material, which is originated
in a 90% from the zones of Puerto Wilches and San Alberto.
Ending 1997, a program of enlargement of the production capacity was initiated;
it has been maintained to this date.

Saceites is an Industrial business, which is very client oriented, and in the
permanent process of quality improvement, striving to satisfy the needs of
specific segments of the food market , supplying them products and services
produced from edible oils and fats, in compliance with the expectations of its
clients, shareholders, employees and the community.

C I. SACEITES S.A. diversifies and develops profitable products and
innovative services of global quality, with a diversified skill, which captures
more and more of the domestic and global market every day because of the
unconditional endorsement of its clients, shareholders, employees and the
community.
To reach its vision, SACEITES works in two distinct manners:
1. To expand its markets geographically, mostly, through exports, with a bias
for new alliances, acquisitions and mergers with local businesses of the Andean
region.
2. To combine its internal strengths and potential for new trade marks which
will be incorporated into its distribution network.
